The art of gathering
Pygmalion is a London candle studio, founded in 2021 by Rosanna Philpott and born from a love of artistry, architecture and gathering people around the table.
What began as a messy hobby at her kitchen hob is now a collection of sculptural dinner candles, made to bring a sense of occasion to the everyday.
Rooted in British heritage and timeless design, Pygmalion brings magic to the ritual of gathering. Its candles celebrate creativity, quality and the beauty found in the chaos of togetherness.

Every design starts as a drawing in our London studio, and a lot of dinner parties.

Poured by hand
Natural wax, plant-based dyes and pure cotton wicks, poured in layers by hand. Nothing is painted on or dipped, so the pattern keeps revealing itself as it burns.

Boxed to gift
Each pair is packed in recycled Italian card, ready to post. Flowers will always have their place, but we love sending someone a box of light.
