Terms of service

These terms cover your use of pygmalionlondon.com and anything you buy from us. By placing an order, you agree to them. "We" and "us" mean Pygmalion London.

Orders and prices

Prices are shown at checkout and include VAT where it applies. Your order is accepted when we email you to say it has been dispatched. If an item is out of stock, or a price has been shown wrongly, we may cancel the order and we'll refund you in full.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

Delivery and returns

Delivery is covered in our Shipping policy, and returns and refunds in our Return and refund policy. Neither affects your legal rights as a consumer.

About our candles

Our candles are made by hand, and the colour runs all the way through the wax. Because of that, small differences in colour, shape and finish are normal. Photos and screens can never match a real candle exactly.

Burning your candles safely

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, curtains and anything else that can catch fire. Use a stable, heat-resistant holder that fits the candle properly, and stand it on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Trim the wick to about 1cm before lighting. Put the candle out when it burns low, before the flame reaches the holder. We don't supply candle holders.

Using this website

Everything on this site, including the photos, words, designs and the Pygmalion name, belongs to us or is used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse it without asking first.

Our responsibility to you

We take reasonable care to make sure everything you order arrives as described. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our responsibility for anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud. Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses that we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for indirect losses such as lost profit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, although consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland can also use their local courts.
