Boxed in recycled Italian card, so they arrive ready to gift.
Will they fit my holders?
Will they fit my holders?
Almost certainly. Each candle is 29cm tall and 2.2cm wide, the standard size for dinner candles, so they sit in most classic candlestick holders.
Holder a little loose? Press a small piece of candle putty into the base to keep them standing tall. A little snug? Dip the end in hot water for a minute to soften the wax, then ease it in with a gentle twist.

UK: Free on orders over £90. Otherwise Royal Mail Tracked, £3.90, usually with you within 2 working days. Orders leave us within 1 working day.
International: Royal Mail International, usually 4–9 days. From £12 to Europe, $24 to the US and £17.75 to the rest of the world. You’ll see the exact price at checkout.
Returns: Changed your mind? Send unused candles back in their box within 14 days for a refund. If anything arrives damaged, email support@pygmalionlondon.com with a photo and we’ll send a replacement.
Candle care
Candle care
Keep your candles in their box until they go into their holders, so they stay dust-free and in one piece. Each one is poured by hand, so treat them kindly on the way to the table.
Trim the wick short before every lighting, burn them in a well-ventilated room away from draughts, and never leave a lit candle unattended or within reach of children or pets. A snuffer is the neatest way to put them out, but it’s optional.
If a coloured section ever comes loose, it may rattle slightly. Don’t worry: the candle will still burn safely and beautifully.

About Pygmalion London
Pygmalion is a London candle studio, founded in 2021 by Rosanna Philpott. It began as a messy hobby, pouring wax at the kitchen hob, and grew into a collection of sculptural dinner candles made for the best part of the evening: food, wine and the people round the table.
The name comes from George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, and the Greek myth behind it, in which a sculptor’s statue comes to life. Rather like lighting a candle.
If you’re going to put something in the middle of your table, make it worthy of the limelight.
